Mirko has been playing music since 1996. For roughly the first ten years he went by Matto Defou, holding residencies in clubs across Rijeka and Opatija, in what some would call the golden age of Rijeka's underground scene.

In early 2008 came the name Mile Hund and a different sound: electro and nu rave. In Rijeka he launched the Mishu Mitsubishu nights and a blog of the same name. He played Zagreb's KSET, the Smetnjak night at K4 in Ljubljana, Trash Dance nights in Italy, and EXIT in Novi Sad three times. Along the way, he also finished a degree in audio production in London.

In 2011 he started Mile ❤️ Disko with Dr. Smeđi Šećer. It's underground disco from the late seventies and early eighties, records you rarely hear anywhere else. The night started at Discordia in Rijeka, and over fifteen years it has toured half the Balkans.

Today Mirko runs Manual, so he spends more time with cables and calendars than with records.

That makes this anniversary one of the rare nights when he gets to do what he loves most: playing the music and the records that have kept him behind the decks for thirty years.

Thirty years on, the most important question is still the same: what's next?
